The colossal 2001 The Coppermine Road Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits an opaque purple color in addition to a gorgeous perfume of lead pencil shavings intermixed with blackberry and cassis fruit, vanilla, Asian spices, and white flowers. Still primary and young, with great intensity as well as tremendous upside potential, it requires 5-6 more years of aging, after which it will last for two decades. (RP)
