No Longer Available! 1) For the very discerning single malt connoisseur, or 2) the complete Bruichladdich collection or 3) someone turning forty who has been very VERY good! This is the oldest Bruichladdich ever bottled! From 1964, the oldest vintage in the Bruichladdich cellars. There are just 500 bottles floating around the world! This fulsome, rich and exceedingly elegant malt with a super smooth honeyed character was bottled at cask strength (43.1% ABV) and non chill-filtered for fuller flavor. Caramel free, it supplies sensuous fragrances of butterscotch and mint, maple syrup and candied almonds with soft pear and mandarin orange notes. On the palate there is a hint of yellow sherbet, with a rush of heat that slows and turns mellow and magical. The mouthfeel is like soft fudge with exotic yellow fruits and a twist of lime and grapefruit.
