Martinelli's bias to unabashed ripeness is fully in evidence here, and, while coming with the usual caveats about excessive heat, this rich, big-bodied bottling is immensely stuffed and never loses sight of deep and downright juicy fruit. Laced with creamy oak and trimmed with hints of black earth and woodsy spice, it is a powerhouse version of the varietal that needs drinking with the richest foods. *Two Stars*
