Good full ruby-red. Aromas of cassis, blueberry, roasted plum, melted chocolate, smoke and earth. Lush and silky, with chocolatey flavors showing an almost porty ripeness. Very broad but not overly sweet. Finishes with a wave of dusty tannins.
Has peaked and reached a nice plateau. This complex red shows loamy earth and claylike flavors to underscore the ripe currant, mint, dried herb and black cherry fruit, ending with crushed rock notes. (Web-2012)
