The plum, allspice, herbaceous, tannic 2001 Pinot Noir Bondi Home Ranch possesses a dense ruby/purple color, medium body, a firm structure, and tangier, more elevated acidity than its siblings. (RP)
Medium ruby, not particularly bright. Cassis, blackberry, cracked pepper and minerals on the nose, along with a faint meaty nuance. Dense and rich, with very purple flavors of dark, wild fruits and meat. Offers a silky texture and nicely integrated acidity. But still a bit youthfully tough, and firm-edged on the back. (ST)
