2003 was a smaller than average harvest for Elderton. Luckily though, it provided fruit with great intensity, color and varietal characteristics. From vines most of which are more than 45 years of age, this red shows rich concentrated aromas and flavors of plums, chocolate, vanilla and spices, complemented by the 12-14 months maturation in American and French oak puncheons.
