Grown in one of the oldest grape regions of California, these Syrah vines were planted by Phillip Abba in Lodi's rich soils. This wine exhibits blackberry and wild cherries. Smoked game and white pepper are very intense in both the palate and aromatics, with subtle hints of vanilla and spices complimenting the fruit. This wine comes across like a big Australian Shiraz that likes to take holiday in California.
