Tasting Notes
Named after a tributary of the Napa River that flowed through the vineyards, Conn Creek is a classic Napa Cabernet producer founded by Bill and Kathy Collins in the early 70s. They were key players in the Golden Age of Napa Cab, and their wines are built with that old-school longevity that keeps rewarding drinkers for decades. In 1984, Michael Broadbent gave the 1976 Cabernet 4 stars in his book "Vintage Wine," saying it had: "fleshy, lovely fruit." (p. 513)
