Very complex with orange-peel and apricot character and spiced dried strawberries. Medium body, bright acidity and a long and flavorful finish. Shows drive and intensity. Very nice texture. Drink now.
Bruno Paillard's youngest release of the NV Rosé Première Cuvée blends 12 different terroirs (or 89 parcels) and Pinot Noir with a bit of Chardonnay and was disgorged in April 2018. Pale but shining in its beautifully bright and golden shimmering onion color, the wine offers a very delicate, beautifully pure, fresh and aromatic bouquet of red berries, floral and chalky aromas. Round and fruity on the palate, this is a light to medium-bodied, fine, pure, very elegant and persistent rosé with great finesse and harmony and a stimulatingly fruity, grippy and salty finish. This delicious Champagne was aged on the lees for at least 36 months. It's the finest rose I have tasted from Bruno Paillard so far. (SR)
Bruno Paillard’s NV Rosé Premiere Cuvée is bright, tense and wiry. Cranberry, pink grapefruit, chalk and white pepper are all beautifully delineated in this taut, finely sculpted Rosé. Classy and polished, the Rosé will drink nicely over the next handful of years or more. Disgorged June 2017. (AG)
