According to Robert Parker: "Bernadotte’s well-made 2004 exhibits a deep ruby/plum/purple color as well as elegant cranberry, black cherry, and currant notes, good acidity, and a spicy, fresh, invigorating finish. Not a big wine, it displays a style completely different from the 2003. Drink it during its first decade of life." (06/06) According to Stephen Tanzer: "Aromas of redcurrant and tobacco, with a chocolatey-ripe merlot note. Lush in texture, but cooler in flavor, with notes of red- and blackcurrant, licorice, herbs and currant leaf. A rather chunky style, finishing with substantial, slightly tough tannins and a lingering note of licorice." (Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, May/Jun 05) K&L's notes - 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot, and 5% mixed. Bready aromas. Fruity and upfront with plenty of dry tannins at back.
