92 points from the Wine Spectator Insider: "Supple and distinctive for its cinnamon-and clove-scented cherry and blackberry flavors, riding smoothly on a layer of superfine tannins. This comes together suavely on the lingering, enticing finish. Drink now through 2015." (Dec. 12, 2007) The 2005 Yamhill Cuvée is an assemblage of fruit from Domaine Serene's Evenstad Estate, Winery Hill Estate, Two Barns Vineyard and Guadalupe Vineyard in the Dundee Hills and Jerusalem Hill Vineyard in the Eola Hills. It's highly perfumed nose is typical of the vintage, full of red cherry, raspberry and blueberry fruit, with a tang of citrus and hint of cola. The palate is ripe with red plum, raspberry, caramel, clove, vanilla and violets, balancing the fruit and spice with generous acidity and an incredibly lengthy finish.
