Peju's 2004 Estate-grown and bottled Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon underwent extended maceration on the skins and is aged for 18 months in 30% new French oak. Sublimely concentrated, it shows brooding aromas of blackberry and plum, with hints of vanilla, tobacco and spice. Velvety on the attack, the wine is round mid-palate and finishes full of fruit, with soft, lingering tannins.
