*Cellar Selection* Using the old name for Bougros, this is from the steepest portion of the Bougros vineyard. The pure chalk soil gives it pronounced minerality, and it shows firm structure, with green apples, toast and a very firm, tight character. This wine definitely needs to age. (RV)
Pale, green-tinged color. Subtle, precise aromas of lime, quinine and minerals. Broad, rich and dry but with terrific grip and an impression of weightlessness. The complex flavors of powdered stone, minerals, lime blossom and citrus peel resemble those of the young '06. Superb classic Chablis with a rising finish and lovely minerality. (ST)
On the palate, a dry gin and lime zing. Power and freshness combined and then a very long finish. (Sample very cold.) 17.5/20 points (JH)
