Fans of Lewis Cellars wines do not delay. There were only 150 cases of the 2005 Cuvée L produced and we're lucky to have just a few back in stock. This is the crème de la crème of Cabernet from the Lewis estate, bottled from their best lots for a wine with even greater intensity, depth and complexity than the Reserve Cabernet. Smoky, with cedary spice, heavenly chocolate and toffee aromas to complement soft fruit notes on the nose, the wine's bouquet was a little tight upon release but very promising. In the mouth, the wine is plush with black currant fruit and espresso flavors, bound by big tannins that will make fans of big Cabs smile a purple-stained grin of delight.
