You won't see me much excited about a domestic Chardonnay. Usually because they are too heavy, sweet, and oaky for me. However there are exceptions, and more often than not it is the unoaked, (or with a more balanced oak treatment), crispy ones that catch my eyes. The Margarett is all about that. Sure it has lots of fruit, and it is juicy, but above all it's balanced and deliciously inexpensive!
