Offers blackberry and black licorice on the nose, turning to light jam. Full-bodied, with lovely, silky tannins and a long, caressing finish. Beautiful and refined. (JS)
Sweet and relatively supple. Round and easy. Really rather fruity by 2006 standards. Perhaps not the most ambitious but well balanced and correct. Polished tannins.
