The NV Brut , which carries six grams per liter of residual sugar and was disgorged December 2016, is an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It has a fresh lime and sea spray bouquet, well defined with a light honeysuckle aroma. The palate is well balanced with citrus peel on the entry. It might not be as persistent as other South African MCCs, but it is bounding with freshness and delivers a tangy orange-pith finish. How how many champagnes can you get change from with a twenty dollar bill? (NM)
Strong, fresh mousse. Fresh, inviting white peach, lime and apple aromas are complicated by toasty lees and a hint of salinity. Frothy and fresh, delivering lovely lift to the apple and peach flavors. Delicious, fruit-driven, very youthful sparkling wine. (ST)
This offers very pretty flavors at a reasonable price, making it a good choice for everyday drinking or a celebration where quantity is needed. Buttery, warm aromas mingle with a crisp, flinty sparkle in the nose and on the palate. It's on the sweet side but that lively zip keeps the wine aloft. Half Pinot Noir, half Chardonnay. (SK)
A soft, friendly style, offering lots of brioche and apple notes. Broad, soft mousse marks the finish. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. (JM, Web Only-2011)
