Chronicle is a new, small production winery focused on making Pinot and Zin from California's North Coast. The Sonoma Coast proves itself, again and again, to be the source of some of the best Pinot Noir in the state, and the Chronicle showcases the vineyards of this cool climate wonderfully. Made from McDougall Ranch, DeMeo and Castaldi fruit and aged for 10 months in 60% new French Oak, this 495-case production wine enchants with its nose of wild strawberry and sweet cherry. On the palate, this is a medium-weight Pinot with elegant structure and sweet fruit, velvety tannins and a kiss of spice on the finish.
