Quite a good Cabernet, virgorous and dry, with an earthy edge of sweet, dried herbs alongside the blackberries and cedar. More elegant and food-friendly than many of the fruitier, high alcohol, oaky Cabs out there.
Shows taut herb- and cedar-laced blackberry and wild berry flavors that firm up and give this a chewy, minerally aftertaste. Not quite up to the 2007, but impressive nonetheless. Best from 2012 through 2020.
