Too young for drinking now, or anytime soon for that matter. It's all primary blackberry and currant fruit, new oak and tannins. But there's a dramatic quality to the structure, a purity of parts that suggests the cellar. The 2006 is slightly more earthy, the tannins more pronounced, and the wine a bit smokier, without the 2005's admirable integration of the considerable tannin, but both are outstanding Cabernets, and probably the two best wines I have yet tasted from this small producer. (RP)
