This Champagne is aged on its lees for a minimum of three years. This extended time on the yeast cells infuses the wine with a robust, creamy texture. The blend is mainly Pinot Noir (85%) with 15% Chardonnay. Golden-yellow with a lively, lovely bead and a fine, persistent stream of bubbles, this complex and refined bubbly has a fruity nose with notes of peach preserve, fresh raspberry, bergamot, honey, and licorice. The Pinot-driven palate is round and rich and is complemented by a touch of yellow fruit and hint of citrus from the Chardonnay. This is a great choice for an aperitif, but will also show well with heartier foods.

One of the hits for me at our Champagne event was Fluteau! I love the cheesy and toasty notes that come from this champagne. Coming from the wine being left to age on the lees for three years. Notes of citrus and spice in a golden yellow hue. This will make a perfect Holiday wine! At this price you can give it out to all the family. This is a Champagne will are talking about here folks.

The complexity and depth of this wine made a great impression on myself and my family the night we opened this. Lots of fruit from the Pinot, a touch of toast and spice from the extended lees time, this bottle of bubbly is intruiging and delicious.
