Williams Selyem's best Weir ever. Shows vast richness of flavor, with a flood of wild red berry currant, cherry pie, Dr. Pepper, Asian spice and smoky oak flavors, with hints of roasted meat and mocha. Yet it displays gorgeous structure. The tannins are as refined as anything in California.
Bright red. Intensely mineral nose offers a sexy bouquet of fresh red berries, incense and cinnamon. Light in body but deeply flavored, with spicy strawberry and raspberry flavors and a strong undertone of graphite. This doesn't want to let go of the palate, eventually leaving traces of red berry preserves and baking spices in its wake. Very sharply focused Pinot Noir. (ST)
