The Julliard comes from the vineyard of the same name in the Dundee Hills. The wine is made entirely from Pommard clone fruit from vines planted in 1988 and 1976. This sees less new wood than the 2008, which received 93 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, and winemaker Jim Maresh thinks it's even better. More balanced overall, with the vineyard's signature dark fruit, a little more flesh, beautiful earth elements and polished tannins. Only 75 cases produced.
