The 2006 Pinot Noir Aidan shows sweet tannin, with notes of crushed rock, black cherry, raspberry, smoked meats, and forest floor. It has a nice sweetness, medium to full body, and soft, silky tannins. (RP)
Deep, bright red. Spicy aromas of redcurrant and cherry are underscored by smoky minerals. Broad but focused, offering sweet red fruit flavors, supple texture and fully absorbed tannins. A floral note arrives with air and carries through the very long, gently sweet finish. These vines are just seven or eight years old, according to winemaker Smith. (ST)
