The first Chateau we visited on our tasting trip in early April. The wine has a nice nose of vanilla and strawberry, up front bright fruit on the palate. A delicate, elegant, wine that was obviously crafted with finesse rather than power as the goal. Soft round tannins will help make this wine a early delicious drinker. 85-89 points from the Wine Spectator. Robert Parker also reviewed the wine... 'the wine possesses complex aromas of earth, black fruits, minerals, and spice, medium body, and modest length.'
