A fruit-driven St.-Estèphe, which is somewhat unusual for the vintage, the 2005 Petit Bocq has attractive, ripe black cherry and blackcurrant fruit, a distinctive earthiness, medium body and relatively soft but moderate tannins. Drink it over the next decade. (RP)
