Organically and Biodynamically grown estate Pinot Noir is the basis for thes beautiful sparkler from Central Otago. Legendary winemaker Rudi Bauer (one of the most experienced vignerons in New Zealand) hand-crafts these exquisite wines that deserve a place alongside the great houses of Champagne. This elegant fresh rose is bottle fermented and aged at least 24 months on lees. Carefully riddled and disgorged by hand. The wine shows bright cherry red with golden hues. On the nose ripe alpine strawberries on brioche with fresh cream. The palate is intense, lush pure pinot noir, dry, vibrant and lingering. Wine Orbit: "93 points. Rich and generously flavored, this rose is immensely appealing with floral, strawberry, white peach and yeasty characters on the nose. The palate is opulent and expansive with creamy texture and a lengthy finish backed by crisp acidity. A seriously good rose with a lovely seductive feel."

    Every time I taste this wine, I think "Wow! I need to buy a whole bunch of this". And then I promptly forget to do so. But this time around, I'm not going to forget. Fabulously pretty red cherry, strawberry, spice and cream, this wine is all glam and incredibly elegant at the same time. Wonderfully dry, with fresh acidity and super, super drinkable. Get ready for a night of fun when you pop this 100% Pinot Noir, method traditionelle bubbly- you will not be sorry! Cheers!
