92 points Daniele Cernilli: "A vintage that has some Ripasso in it. To the nose it seems more like a Valpolicella with ample and ripe fruit, in particular ripe cherry and prune, chocolate. It reminded me of the Mon Cheri praline. The taste confirmed this ripe fruit leaning towards sweet with a good body, acidity and tannins held in balance. The acidity re-awoken by the tannins is still lively while the persistence has little structure and tends to be acidic. An interesting version taste-wise." (6/2012)
