The outstanding 2008 Pinot Noir Terra Neuma reveals sweet, round, black currant and sweet and sour cherry notes intertwined with hints of forest floor and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied with a dark plum/ruby color, good acidity and sweet tannins, this cuvee is made from Dijon clones 115, 777, 828 and the California Swan Selection. It should drink nicely for 5-7 years. (RP)
**Outstanding** A moderately high-toned and exceptionally fresh nose of both red and blue Pinot fruit, raspberry and a hint of earth introduces rich, delicious and solidly well-concentrated medium-bodied flavors that possess a dusty and mouth coating palate feel, all wrapped in a pure, balanced and lingering finish. It's clear that there is ample underlying material present and this should reward mid-term cellaring. Lovely if not necessarily as elegant as it usually is.
Bright ruby. Pretty aromas of red fruits, licorice, black cardamom and flowers. Juicy, pure and fine, with good tang and energy to the raspberry and cherry flavors. A wine of finesse more than power, but very persistent and energetic on the back end, finishing with silky tannins and lingering minerality.
