Bright yellow-gold. Enticing aromas of mango, guava, yellow peach, saffron, minerals and honey, complicated by high-toned botrytis. Rich, dense and almost oily, with intense ripe yellow fruit and honey flavors lifted by firm acidity. The finish boasts outstanding length and a bright lemony touch. (ID)
Elegant nose with sweet white peach, strawberry and vanilla. Medium sweet on the palate with a lovely pure fruit and fine texture. This Barsac is super charming and well balanced. Very spicy on the finish showing wonderful botrytis intensity. Drink now or hold.
Pale to medium lemon-gold in color, the 2010 Doisy Daëne leaps from the glass with lively notions of honey-drizzled peaches, apple crumble, crème brûlée and lime leaves with touches of dried pineapple and orange blossoms. The palate is layered with energetic, intricate stone fruit, citrus and savory layers, framed with fantastic freshness, finishing with epic persistence. (LPB)

Plenty remains in reserve, but this is hard to resist now. Drink now through 2030. *#45 Top Wines 2013* (JM)
The 2010 Doisy-Daëne shows a very delicate botrytis character, but offers up impressive refinement and a dancing acidity that is pretty rare in this vintage. The bouquet offers up a complex and vibrant blend of pineapple, lemon peel, bee pollen, lovely, chalky soil tones, spring flowers and a lovely base of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and nicely crisp, with a good core of fruit, lovely focus and balance and just the faintest whisper of backend alcohol poking through on the classy finish. A very fine example of the vintage. Drink between 2016-2035. 91+
This is a light, fresh and spicy wine that offers both a fine texture and a sense of freshness. Fragrant and fruity, the palate boasts pear flavors spiced with ginger. There is a fine touch of acidity and orange zest that gives the wine further complexity. Drink from 2016. *Best Buy* (RV)
Light nose. Medium weight. Lots of acidity dominates the palate. Some racy sweet fruit. Clean finish. Quite chewy on the end at the moment. Decent persistence. The group favourite of the flight.
