Barros is a deservedly popular brand in Portugal, known for all of their fine ports, but as is the case for most Portuguese owned houses, most especially for their tawnies and colheitas. They also make this wonderful white port, a drier style compared to others such as Ramos Pinto. There are yellow fruits and a bit of sweetness to be sure, but also an interesting savory component that would make this a crisp, nicely balanced fortified aperitif, or even an interesting Port to play around with for mixing cocktails.
