This has the rich, dark blueberry and blackberry fruit of the vintage, with ample graphite and spice and a solid, tannic backbone. Toasty, but with flesh. (JM, Web-2011)
Fascinating wine with dark fruit and citrus undertones. Full and refined. Lovely finish.
One of the finest Tertre Daugays I have tasted (although the 2009 is also attractive), this sleeper of the vintage exhibits a dense purple color as well as copious aromas of sweet kirsch, black fruits, licorice and graphite. Medium to full-bodied with a corpulent, layered mouthfeel, light to moderate tannins and a spicy, heady finish, it should drink well for 10-12 years. (RP)
Very sweet and rich. Quite winning and it seems to utilise the concentration of 2010 without going over the top. 17/20 points (JR)
Saturated, dark bright red. Expressive, high-pitched aromas of redcurrant and blueberry, lifted by white pepper and lavender. Sweet, juicy and intensely flavored, with a fine-grained texture to its pristine red fruit flavors. Finishes with an intriguing note of aromatic spices. Impressive. (ID)
