The 2000 Mormoreto is produced in the Castello di Nipozzano vineyards, but it is a Cabernet, rich, sweet, and chocolatey in aroma with additional notes of leather and black currants, fine volume, and light tannins which firm up the structure on the finish. Drink: 2005-2018. (DT)
A pleasant Cab, with clean berry and currant character and hints of mineral and wood. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a medium finish. Best after 2006.
