The 2012 Pinot Noir Burt Williams’ Morning Dew Ranch reveals a dark fruit spectrum of black cherries, raspberries, currants and loamy soil undertones. Medium-bodied with fresh acids as well as light tannins, its acid profile should ensure 8-10 years of longevity. (RP)
The color of this wine is deep, with a bright ruby rim. Effusive and enticing aromas of spicy cinnamon, toasted oak and red cherry notes meld into black cherry and pomegranate flavors. The balance is just right, the texture is snappy, appetizing and rich at the same time and the finish lingers. Best after 2016. (JG)
Bright ruby. Aromas of fresh red berries, rose pastille, blood orange and smoky minerals, along with a hint of Asian spices. Fresh, penetrating and pure, offering gently sweet strawberry and raspberry flavors that put on weight and become spicier with aeration. Shows very good intensity with no excess weight. Finishes silky and extremely long, with subtle tannins coming on late. (ST)
