K&L Notes

This wine is stunning. The little brother of Tronquoy Lalande and owned by the Montrose people, this wine is packed with fruit--lots of cassis on the palate. Smooth and sweet and delicious.

One of the best buys in red wine in today's market. This wine sings as the second wine of Tronquoy Lalande. We sold 100 cases quickly last year and then 400 more cases. This last batch will sell just as fast. Sweet and sexy and perfect right now and for ten more years. The best tasting under $20 Cabernet in the store. Do not miss it

Believe the hype! This is powerful wine with a rich full body. It has great potential for the cellar but enough fleshiness to make it immediately attractive. A grilled ribeye is calling my name right now. But, don't forget to lose a couple of bottles in your cellar. You'll thank me later.

HOT DEAL! WOW, that's a lot of wine for less than $20! Tronquoy is located just across the road from 2nd growth icon Montrose, so you're getting top-notch terroir in this bottle. Perfectly balanced fruit with firm tannins and a lovely finish. How is this under $20?

Being softer and friendlier than the 1st wine, Sainte-Anne is pure pleasure to drink right now. Brown sugar, cocoa, pepper spices and a core of sweet dark fruit. The tannic structure and acidity frame its softness nicely. With all its charms, it is ready to go now.

Six years after a legendary harvest in Bordeaux, our owner Clyde is still finding unbelievable deals on 2009s. This property, which is adjacent to Montrose, has had a flood of investment, and the De St Anne, their second label, has profited from that. I think it would be hard to find a Cabernet lover that could find fault with this big, dark-fruited, rich wine.
