From one of the steepest slopes on Outpost's Howell Mountain estate, The Other is 100% Petite Sirah from a tiny 1 acre parcel which features low yields and big concentration. From the winery: "This is a beautifully balanced wine with a nicely buffered mid-palate that develops into a round fruit sweetness that keeps the tannic impact at bay. The vintage conditions contribute this quality with a nice moderate growing season up on the mountain. The wine finishes with notes of crushed blackberries, blueberries, licorice, and black pepper."
