The 2012 Oublié checks in as a blend of 44% Mourvèdre, 36% Grenache and 20% Counoise and offers up a Rhône-like feel in its kirsch, underbrush, spiced meats and floral aromas and flavors. It shows the full-bodied richness and depth that’s the hallmark of this estate, yet it stays seamless and elegant, with a terrific finish. It’s one of the more graceful and elegant wines in the lineup and will drink well for 7-8 years. (JD)
Crushed flowers, sweet red berries, rose petals, spices and mint lift from the 2012 Oublié. This is one of the more aromatic, perfumed versions of Oublié I can remember tasting. hints of sweet tobacco and cedar add nuance on the close. The blend is 44% Mourvèdre, 36% Grenache and 20% Counoise. (AG)
