Bold, rich and extracted, with dense, concentrated cherry, currant, fresh earth, mineral and sage. Full-blown and well-structured, ending with chewy tannins. Best from 2010 through 2016. (JL)
Owners Michele and John Anthony Truchard have fashioned a 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon that reveals an attractive nose of vanilla, black currants, and spice box as well as polished, supple tannins. This outstanding effort should improve over the next 3-4 years, and keep for 15-20. (RP)
