85% Cabernet Sauvignon & 15% Petit Verdot. Aged in 50% stainless steel, 35% neutral oak, and 15% new French oak. According to the winery: "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is a rustic wine, with a deep, dark nose of blackberry, currants and cocoa. This is a broadly textured wine, showing off the natural structure and power of each varietal in the finished blend. Enjoy with a sliced venison loin or hangar steak seared in cast iron and finished in the oven. Chop up some new potatoes; cover them with fresh rosemary and your favorite olive oil. Grab some black berries, sugar and a little vinegar, reduce and drizzle over the finished protein."

An absolutely stunning expression of what real Napa Valley Cab should be, this is a balanced and elegant full-bodied wine that, while having big fruit, doesn't hit you in the face with it. An array of herbal notes, mocha, and currant lead to a great finish! I love it!
