Barrel Sample. This is a rich wine, with notes of pineapple and peach that are balanced by a tight texture and attractive minerality. The wood aging just shows through, lending a spicy accent to the vibrant finish. (RV)
The Château de France Blanc has a fresh lime and dewy green apple nose that is nicely defined. The palate is fresh and crisp, almost Burgundy-like on the mid-palate with fine tension all the way through to the finish. You know, this might very well be the best Château de France Blanc that I have tasted. Excellent. (NM)

An attractive hint of lanolin on top of quite rich grapefruit juice. Lots of acidity and just a little dry on the end. Neat and substantial with good persistence. (JR)
