The Mourvèdre-dominated cuvee for the estate is the 2014 L'Ancely Coteaux du Languedoc la Clape. Brought up all in demi-muids, this beauty will certainly be in the top handful of wines in the vintage. Possessing blockbuster-styled notes of cassis, currants, creamy licorice and spiced meat, this beauty hits the palate with full-bodied richness, no hard edges, good overall freshness and purity, and a big finish. It will have 10-15 years of longevity. (JD)
