The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, and the rest Cabernet Franc and Merlot, has an inky purple color and a relatively good-sized framework, with plenty of blackcurrant fruit, toasty oak, underbrush and earth. It is medium to full-bodied, not terribly complex, but again, mouth-filling and chunky. Drink it over the next decade. (RP)
Toasty, charry oak is the dominant theme, submerging the dark berry fruit. A solid and sturdy, but tannic, effort. Drink now through 2026. (JL, Web-2016)
