This is a delightfully crisp and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc coming from the Limoux region of the Languedoc, at the foot of the Pyrenees. On the nose there are zesty notes of citrus, mostly lime zest and grapefruit. There are hints of grass, gooseberries and lots of minerality to round things out. The wine is cold-fermented in stainless steel tank to allow the terroir to shine through. Delicious with lighter fare such as seafood, cheese, chicken and salads. Great on its own as well.
