Saturated with quince, glazed peach and dried apricot notes, along with toasted pineapple and brioche on the finish. It shows a crème brûlée edge but stays light and floral at the same time. (JM, Web-2012)
This was definitely the best of the six vintages tasted on this occasion, with the most marked acidity and freshness. Pear, grapefruit and maybe orange-flavoured brandy snaps (ie sweet ginger touches). Lithe, long and quite delicate despite the intense sweetness. 19/20 points (JH)
