Bright violet color. Pungent, deeply pitched red and dark berry scents, along with a smoky mineral quality and a sexy floral topnote. Spicy black raspberry and cherry-cola flavors become sweeter with air, picking up an exotic suggestion of violet pastille. Maintains impressive focus and energy through a long, smoky, youthfully tannic finish, with the floral note resonating. (JR)

Shows lots of power and personality, with aromas of black raspberry, smoky herb and mineral leading to complex, dense flavors of dark cherry, espresso and licorice. The tannins are big but ripe. (TF)
