If you're looking for something other than Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc, and want a bright, dry white wine with great acidity, limestone minerality, plenty of citrusy notes and a touch of Mediterranean salinity that will have you smacking your lips, then grab this bottle of one of the Languedoc's most delicious white wines, Picpoul de Pinet. I recently enjoyed this as a little liquid amuse bouche at our local Peruvian restaurant and have found it to be as equally pleasing with a rich, creamy cheese and an assortment of hams. I just love the long finish on this wine. Try this with Thanksgiving dinner, stock up for the holiday entertaining season or just keep it on hand for a daily dose of delish.
