At this early stage it displays ripe apple and raspberry aromas with oak-derived nuances of cinnamon and clove. Opulent pineapple and strawberry jam flavors are layered over melted hazelnut chocolate and honey. Highly concentrated and oily in texture, but with a perfectly integrated acid structure. The long finish is once again marked by oak. This wine will offer extraordinary pleasure for decades but will require at least eight years of patience. (PM)
