This special mezcal is created by adding mango & habanero to double distilled espadin. Much like a Pechuga without the meat, the essence of the fruits and vegetables is captured in a third distillation. Selected by the special Mezcaloteca in Oaxaca City, Mezcalosfera seeks to introduce the incredible diversity of Mezcal to the world. Each micro batch is less than 200 liters.
I am very lucky to have tasted this spirit as only 287 bottles were produced (for the entire world), and K & L got a handful. The flavors are all natural, infused, and the juice is then distilled a 3rd time. Super smooth, delicate flavors, and light/sweet smoke on the nose leading into the typical firewood in the palate. Awesome.
