The white wines of Italy never disappoint. Fresh, flavorsome, and mouth watering with notes of stone fruit, white flowers, and a hint of salinity, this has beautiful succulence while retaining bright, zippy acidity that will have you reaching for that third glass. Enjoy with cioppino, chicken, pork and good friends. Bevi, amici!

Such an astounding wine, I might characterize it as "destructively good." A heady perfume entices you like a siren's call, causing your mouth to water before your first sip. Then like a jolt of electricity, vibrant fruits shock your senses - ripe pears and juicy pineapple - accompanied by heavenly aromas of orchard flowers. The acidity here is palpable but not overwhelming, and joins with perfectly poised minerals and a whisper of salinity to give this wine an inimitable texture and extravagantly long finish. Whether you enjoy this tomorrow or 10 years from now, I think you will agree that nothing else comes close.

One of my big standouts at our latest Italian seminar was this little Lugana white. Generously fruited with flavors of peaches and candied Meyer lemon peel, it finishes with a silky luscious palate of fresh ginger and pear. This encapsulates everything I'm looking for in a dry white going into the holiday season. What a pleasure!

A wine that offers this much for this price is a complete steal! The fruits presented are all ripe, soft, and bright, and have a backdrop of pleasant minerality on the palette. What impressed me so much about this wine is the nose and the texture! Its nose is incredibly deep and rich; I could sniff it for hours. And the texture is velvety and creamy without being cloying in any way. This is a must try for anyone interested in white wines in general!

There is a lot of wine on offer in this bottling from one of my favorite Italian white producers. Light citrus fruit, saline, and mineral aspects are well-balances by a richer textured, creamier mouthfeel. Super fresh with a long finish and mild honey phenolics make this one I will be recommending to customers again and again.

This Italian white shows lovely, appley and ripe yellow fruit qualities, with a roundess and volume in the mouth which remind me of good Chenin Blanc, though with gentler acidity and a sense of minerality all its own. Pretty cool that the top end Lugana bottling from Teunta Roveglia has some bottle age and still comes in under $20!

Pure and fresh, this is a delicious dry white wine. Lugana is one of Italy's most popular white wines, probably because the good ones like this are so smooth, light, and easy to drink. This wine comes from the southern shores of Lake Garda. This is the perfect wine for your summer sipping and Sunday brunches.

The nose of this wine is sensual, it initially seems somewhat like stone fruits but it’s beyond that there’s almost a texture in the nose, it fills the air around you not with a floral component but a heady, musky almost humid richness. On the palate you see the wine is full immediately, all stainless steel but there’s a richness that gives creaminess to the wine that is ultra pleasing to the palate. Not that the wine is flabby it has excellent acidity with hints of minerality to lift it on the end of the palate. The flavors are a bit of peach, nectarine and pear subtle but substantive highlighted with dried white flowers. The finish is long lasting and replays the wine’s richness, complex stone fruits all lifted to an excellent finish.

After tasting this new arrival I would never have guessed it was a 2014 but rather a 2015. It's bold and intensely concentrated with a surprising amount of acidity that makes it the complete package. Although it's full and round, it's also light on its feet. Rich honey and minerals emerge on the palate and continue on a long finish. It reminded us somewhat of a well made Chenin Blanc with the uniqueness that makes it truly Italian. Seafood, white meats and egg dishes with this one.
