Named after the turrets that surmount the château of Pichon Longueville, this wine has its own dedicated portion of the vineyard. It is open, generous and full bodied. Ripe berry fruits dominate while still leaving room for the fresh acidity typical of the 2014 vintage. (RV)
The currant and berry character with hints of chocolate is impressive on the nose. Full body, tangy acidity and soft and velvety tannins. It’s rich and satisfying. Second wine of Pichon Baron.
Open-knit, with enticing raspberry and cassis notes lined with subtle violet and anise hints. Balanced, but unobstructed by structure on the finish. (JM, Web-2017)
